Monroe Rooftop opened on Sept. 30 at 700 Settlers Landing Road. A group of businessmen saw an opportunity for the roughly 5,000-square-foot rooftop space and stepped in to create the unique concept on the Peninsula.
Chester-based Shamin Hotels rebranded, remodeled and reopened the nine-story waterfront hotel with 173 guest rooms as The Landing at Hampton Marina, Tapestry Collection by Hilton in February. The hotel, previously the Crowne Plaza, was built in 1987.

Then this past spring, Lance Henderson, CEO of Future Outlook Group, partnered with Kunal Shah and Neal Patel, co-owners of the LX Group, to work with Shamin Hotels.
